Today was kind of a roller coaster day. Yesterday, I had training all day, came home for about a half hour (did some work on the computer) and then went and got my hair cut! New(ish) do!
When I do it myself it ends up a bit more poofy and I am super pleased with the cut. I am not one of those people who panics when getting a haircut. I usually figure if it doesn’t look exactly how I wanted it to look in the beginning, it will get there. Not to mention, hey! Hair grows back! I also LOOOOOVE my hair stylist. She is the sweetest person! Somehow she always remembers what has been going on in my life and loves to ask me all kinds of questions about running. Guess what? She has started the Couch to 5k program! I am super excited for her so we talked lots of run-talk during my appointment. I have no idea if I “helped” her get started but I’m going to borrow some responsibility because it makes me feel good!
After the haircut, it was the grocery store and then back to the office. I was there until midnight. I was sure my eyeballs were going to fall out of my head as part of a project entailed some number crunching and putting into a spreadsheet. The system was supposed to export the numbers but lucky me, this function wasn’t working! Then I finished moving all of my crap out of the office. Finally.
Needless to say, I was exhausted today! I dragged my way through more training. I also haven’t felt all that great today – not sure why. There is currently a festival going on downtown, Ribfest and I ate my first rib today! Well, I took a bite out of my first rib :) I would definitely try it again. Yep, not the healthiest diet and tomorrow there might just be a bite of a deep fried Twinkie. I know… it’s like I am getting some gluttony out of my system before CrossFit! I also have been unable to run the last two days. This isn’t going to be pretty. After I got tomorrow, these are the shoes I will be getting once they are back in stock
I think this is the color I am going to pick too… although there is a great pink pair ;) Tomorrow is the big day! I’ll report in!
